Doc Fee Online Notice Not Available

As previously announced, a dealer may charge up to $150 for a doc fee (starting June 1), provided notice is given to the OCCC.
However, the OCCC has just announced that its online filing system (ALECS) will not be available for doc fee filings until sometime in late June. Previously the agency had indicated the system would be available on or around June 10.
If you do not wish to wait until late June to increase your doc fee, you may file for the “safe harbor” of $150 by using the form found on this page and following the instructions provided. The OCCC is continuing to take the position that any doc fee increase filed via this method will need to be “completed” in the ALECS system once it becomes available for this purpose.
