Arbitration Rule Proposed by CFPB

The CFPB has announced a proposed rule action that would prohibit the use of class-action waivers in consumer arbitration agreements.
In October of 2015, TIADA President Phil Lathrop participated in a Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act (SBREFA) panel in Washington, D.C. to review the proposals the CFPB was considering. The CFPB also released the report from this panel.
